Description
Execute, plan and lead compensation team projects that require complex analysis and understanding of cross organizational needs.
Provide consultation, direction, guidance and in-dept compensation support to HR staff, organizational leadership and employee groups regarding compensation and human resources issues.
Collect, analyze, and organize data in an effective manner to convey organization opportunities and solutions.
Evaluate district positions by examining and analyzing position duties and responsibilities to determine appropriate job classification and salary level.
Determine salaries and wages for new employees as well as adjustments for promotions, demotions, and transfers.
Create and perform regular audits of organizational data and compensation programs to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and accuracy of compensation programs.
Develop proactive approaches for the organization to address compensation challenges throughout the competitive market.
Participate in strategic planning sessions by providing input and support to leadership in achieving district goals.
Conduct routine salary surveys and market pricing as needed to monitor the competitiveness of positions within the district.
Ensure compliance it organizational policies, state and federal law employment and compensation laws.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
Preferred Master's Degree from an accredited university.
Required 3-5 direct years of experience working in the Compensation field.
Proven knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems.
Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills both written and verbal.
Proven proficient skills in using Microsoft Office Professional and other HR software.
Demonstrated familiarity with compensation principles.
