Job Description:

Work collaborativelywith JEC Team to support employment programming. Manage case load of JECparticipants and worksites, monitor and ensure a positive work experience for participantsand employers. Ensure that allparticipants and employers have completed relevant paperwork and datacollection

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or HiSET, Bachelor's degreepreferred; related experience considered.
  • Demonstrated skills in supervising and/or leadershipexperience.
  • Familiarity with the Worcester communitiespreferred.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively withstaff and clients from diverse cultural, educational, and socio-economicbackgrounds required.
  • Attention to detail is essential. Will be asked toverify participant eligibility and timesheets.
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a busyenvironment with a lot of time traveling throughout the community to differentworksites.
  • Must become familiar with and able to cite potentialviolations of OSHA worksite rules and Child Labor laws.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite and datamanagement.
  • Bilingual ability preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to successfully complete a CORI/SORI review.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportationrequired. This position requires daily travel to various job sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This position will require interaction with businesspartners. The Case Manager must be able to interact with professionalism andexhibit excellent customer service skills.
  • Conduct employer orientation at the beginning of each program cycle.
  • Train Summer Case Managers on best practices engaging participants andemployers.
  • Monitor worksites for compliance with all applicablestate, federal, and program rules and regulations.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with worksiteemployers.
  • Conduct weekly visits to assigned worksites. Assist withproblem-solving in the event of conflict. Escalate to manager whenappropriate.
  • Establish and maintain a positive mentoring relationship withparticipants.
  • Facilitate weekly check-ins to ensure a successful job experience.
  • Monitor accuracy and proper maintenance of weekly timesheets atworksites to include participant and supervisor signatures.
  • Monitor participant completion of work readiness curriculum.
  • Develop, implement, and complete Work-Based Learning Plans for allassigned participants.
  • Conduct reflection activities designed to assist participant with skilldevelopment.
  • Assist participant with developing plans for "next steps", such asresume writing and job applications.
  • Ensure participants have wrap-around supports; make referrals forservices as needed.
  • Enter andmanage data entries of participants progress and services received in multipledatabases
  • Meet with JEC team bi-weekly. Will be asked to provideweekly status reports on the employers and assigned youth.
  • Attendprofessional development trainings
  • Support the JEC team as needed.
