Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join an exciting company located in Central Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £28,000 plus excellent benefits
Role responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of all monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage intercompany transactions and debtor and credit control account reconciliations
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Preparation of the monthly sales invoices
- Ensuring sales invoices are recorded accurately
- Ensuring purchases and payments are appropriately approved by budget holders
- Preparation of all payments (supplier, employee, government, ad-hoc)
- Act as first point of contact for all payment queries
- Assist with external audit/ other external consultant requests
Person specification:
- Experience in having assisted with monthly management accounts
- Experience of VAT returns
- Good Excel skills; VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills
