Job Description

Microsoft Office 365 Support Engineer required to provide the highest level of technical expertise in the activation, implementation, and support of Microsoft Office 365 systems.

  • To install the Office 365 components on our customers PC's and Laptops using remote control tools
  • To migrate email from an on-premise messaging solution such as Exchange to Office 365
  • To migrate email from POP3 and other web based messaging platforms to Office 365
  • To migrate DNS records from various ISP's to Office 365 platform
  • To migrate files from on premise to Office 365 SharePoint site
  • To provide support to customers on technical operational issues
  • To update and maintain acurate records to ensure punctual reporting to our customers
  • To advise where process improvement can be achieved to help group productivity, effectiveness, or quality of customer implementations

Candidate must have excellent working knowledge and experience in the following:

  • Microsoft Outlook, Outlook OWA
  • MS Exchange Web Services
  • Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Sharepoint 2007 & 2010 an advantage
  • Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016 an advantage
  • LDAP, Protocols TCPIP, SIP, SMTP
  • Active Directory, FTP, DNS

Also required

  • Minimum 4+ years of IT industry experience supporting/implementing systems
  • Microsoft Certification an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Good project management and prioritisation skills
  • Ownership of assignments and excellent documentation
  • Analytic problem-solving skills
