Context
Our client in the field of energy is looking for a Back-End Developer. The candidate will analyze, set up and code the application software components in compliance with the desired changes, standards and procedures.
Analysis:
- Contributes to the definition of general specifications
- Performs technical analysis and detailed study
- Adapts and sets up application software packages (ERP)
- Realises prototyping
Qualification:
- Develops test sets for unit integration tests
- Performs unit tests
- Identifies and treats dysfunctions
Development:
- Realizes the modules (software objects and components)
- Assembles the components
- Writes the documentation
Maintenance:
- Is responsible for the corrective maintenance
- Is in charge of the evolutionary maintenance
- Administers reusable software components and updates the nomenclature of these components
Profile
- Coding skills : Confirmé (between 2 and 4 years of experience)
- Knowledge and skills in the energy market industry : Junior (
- Python, Angular, C# on Linux and Windows hosted at Kubernetes & Azure : Confirmé (between 2 and 4 years of experience)
- Software Craftmanship : Confirmed (between 2 and 4 years of experience)
- Languages : english and dutch or french
Responsabilities
As a Back-End Developer, you will :
Collaborate continuously in analyzing further automating the desk in order to improve the performance of the desk. This includes getting familiar with all data-flows and calculation engines used by the team for
- the daily optimization runs of all assets (nuclear, thermal, Chp, renewable and pump Storage).
- costing and bidding of contracts for ancillary services tendered daily by national Transmission System Operators (TSOs).
- intra-day trading on the energy markets
- Co-develop with the team on the identified solutions in dev-ops mode using the tools we consider to be best fit for the task at hand (currently: micro-services, Python, C#, Angular, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS S3)
- Continuously collaborate on design and implementation issues with the team to move forward as a team
